CroWays – Multimedia GPS Guide App (hereinafter "CroWays") is committed to protecting your privacy. This document explains what data we collect, how we use it, and how you can manage or delete your personal data.

1. Data We Collect

We collect only the data required for the operation of the app:

• Email address (if using Facebook Login)
• Device information (for technical support and diagnostics)
• Location data (to enable GPS-based features and route saving)

We do not collect sensitive personal data or share data with third parties for marketing purposes.

1.a Location access

CroWays uses location access solely for GPS functionality and navigation within the app.

Location data is not permanently stored, not shared with third parties, and not used for any other purpose.
Users can disable location access at any time through their device settings.

2. How We Use Your Data

Your data is used exclusively to:

• Enable app functionality
• Save and retrieve your routes
• Improve app performance
• Respond to user inquiries and support requests

3. Data Storage and Security

All user data is stored securely in accordance with GDPR and industry best practices. Only authorized personnel have access to this data.

4. Data Retention

We retain your data only as long as it is necessary for app functionality. If you delete your account, your data is permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.

5. User Data Deletion 

You can request deletion of your personal data at any time. This applies to all users, including those who sign in via Facebook Login.

How to request deletion

• Email: info@mare-vrbnik.com (subject: “Personal Data Deletion – CroWays”)
• Contact form: submit a message via our website (subject: “Personal Data Deletion – CroWays”)
• In-app: Settings → Profile → Delete Account and confirm

We will verify your identity and delete your personal data within 30 days (or 7 business days if you prefer and can meet this deadline), except for data we must retain to comply with legal obligations (e.g., tax/accounting).

Important for Facebook users
Removing our app in Facebook (Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites) stops future data sharing but does not delete data we already store. To delete stored data, please send us a request as described above.
