Covid-19

It is essential to us that your vacation is pleasant and safe. Therefore, we have singled out relevant information related to the Covid-19 pandemic here.

You can follow the current situation regarding Covid-19 in Croatia on the official website of the Government of the Republic of Croatia for accurate and verified information on coronavirus.

YOUR SAFETY COMES FIRST

Even in the conditions of a pandemic, we work very hard in cooperation with our hosts to make your stay safe.

Our hosts pay close attention to the accommodation's cleanliness, taking into account current guidelines and recommendations.

Part of the accommodation is marked by the national label of safety Safe stay in Croatia. This means that it adheres to special safety protocols related to prescribed epidemiological measures and health safety recommendations.

Accommodation is located in smaller places that provide you with all the facilities for a pleasant holiday.

Private accommodation provides the opportunity to enjoy your privacy and the security that privacy provides.

The description of accommodation states how many accommodation units there are in each facility.

You can check-in with our agency quickly and safely. By prior arrangement, you can also check-in and pay for accommodation online. Mare Tours also carries the Safe stay in Croatia label, which means that we adhere to all prescribed protocols, recommendations and epidemiological measures.

ARRIVAL TO CROATIA

You can reach our destination safely in your own car.

We advise all foreign citizens to fill in the form available on the Enter Croatia website when entering Croatia for a simpler procedure at the border.

For entry into Croatia, you need EU digital COVID certificate. Rapid antigen tests mutually recognized by EU member states are also valid. It is also possible to enter with a vaccination certificate or a certificate of COVID-19 illness, which will be valid for 180 days.

Children under the age of 12 will not need to have a negative test for crossing the border if they are with parents or guardians who possess a negative antigen or PCR test, a certificate of vaccination, or who recovered from Covid-19 in the last 180 days.

Persons coming from the Schengen area, who have been vaccinated with two doses of vaccine, are allowed to enter Croatia as soon as they are vaccinated with the second dose. For vaccines given in a single dose, 14 days from the first dose must have passed to have a valid vaccine certificate.

The confirmation of receipt of the first dose of Pfizer, Moderna or Gamaley vaccine is also valid, with which it is possible to enter the Republic of Croatia in the period from the 22nd to the 42nd day of receipt of the vaccine, or from the 22nd to the 84th day of the first dose of AstraZeneca vaccine.

Certificates will also be recognized for vaccines that are not registered in the EU - this means that both Russian and Chinese vaccines are recognized.

Negative PCR test or rapid antigen test - BAT on SARS-CoV-2 must not be older than 48 hours before crossing the border.

We have also prepared very flexible cancellation conditions in pandemic circumstances, which you can read below.

CANCELLATION CONDITIONS IN THE CIRCUMSTANCES OF THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC

The stated cancellation conditions are valid for all new reservations made after 1.4.2021. for the season 2022.

For reservations made after 1.4.2021, with the transferred advance from 2020, we apply General Terms and Conditions.

As a valid reason for the cancellation caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, we consider official travel bans and mandatory quarantine upon return to the destination of departure.

In case of cancellation without closing the borders or quarantine obligation on return, the General Terms and Conditions will apply to your reservation.

In case you want to cancel your reservation due to the pandemic, you can do so without cancellation fees up to 15 days before your reservation. In that case, you can choose whether we will refund the advance payment or you want to use it for another date in 2022 or 2023. The reservation fee of 65 kn (9 Eur) will be deducted from the advance payout for administrative costs.

You can cancel your reservation without cancellation fees even if you cancel your reservation within 15 days before the start of the reservation, provided that during the period of canceled reservation, the situation in the area where the booked accommodation is situated changes in a way that the number of infected greatly increases which leads to travel bans or mandatory quarantines on return to the destination of departure.

If a change in the status of our region in connection with the travel bans or quarantine obligation upon return to the departure destination is officially announced or occurs during your stay in the booked accommodation, you may terminate the stay and pay only for the nights you used.

We hope that these flexible cancellation conditions will make travel planning easier for you.
