What can you expect on the pirate boat trip to Plavnik?
Overview
A full-day trip by wooden boat from Punat to Plavnik — an uninhabited island between Krk and Cres. The tour includes panoramic cruising, several swimming stops, the Blue Cave and two hours on the island itself.
Food is not included in the price: you can bring your own picnic, order something from the boat bar, or pay extra for lunch on board. At Krušija, the boat leaves you for two hours — time for swimming, shade under the pine trees, or a walk to the abandoned shepherds’ cottages.
What does this trip look like?
You sail from Punat on an authentic wooden boat, powered by engine and, when the wind allows, by sail. The route follows the hidden bays of southern Krk towards the island of Plavnik: the Blue Cave, Krušija Bay and a quiet approach to the cliffs where griffon vultures nest. There are several swimming stops in places that can only be reached by boat.
On Plavnik, the boat stops for about two hours. There is enough time for swimming, resting in the shade of the pine trees, or taking a walk to the abandoned shepherds’ cottages in the island’s interior.
Food and drinks
Lunch and drinks are not included in the price. You are welcome to bring your own picnic, order something from the boat bar, or add a warm lunch on board — fish, meat or vegetarian menu. You decide about food in the way that suits you best.
Prefer lunch and unlimited drinks included? See the full-day trip with lunch on the island Plavnik.
