The islands of Plavnik and Mali Plavnik are real eco-oasis - griffon vultures and other rare bird species live there. As many as 31 species of birds have their habitat on the island of Plavnik, 12 of which even nest there.
Dolphins also live between the islands of Plavnik, Krk and Cres, and you might even see them with some luck.
You will certainly enjoy meeting the seagulls. Namely, we sail along the islet of Kormat, where there is a colony of seagulls, red-billed terns and the largest colony of sea crows in the Kvarner area.
The departure is from Punat; after 45 minutes, we arrive at the islet of Mali Plavnik, where we have a 45-minute break for swimming. After that, we sail along the coast of Plavnik, where griffon vultures nest on the impressive cliffs. Along the coast, we sail slowly and at an appropriate distance to avoid disturbing these unique birds.
At 12:15 we reach Krušija, a pine-lined bay with a crystal clear sea. Here you can take a bath and rest in the shade of the pines, and with a bit of exploratory spirit, you can explore Plavnik along the paths that lead from Krušija bay.
Lunch on the boat is also planned in Krušija, and you can choose from a fish, meat and vegetarian menu.
Another attraction awaits you a few minutes by boat from Krušija, namely the Blue Cave. The Blue Cave is unique for its open vault and countless shades of blue. You will enter the cave through a passage through the rocks, and we will stay near the cave for about half an hour.
At 15:00, we leave behind the shores of Plavnik and sail along the islet of Kormat and the seagull colony to the west coast of Krk. Between Stara Baška and Punat, you will enjoy the view of beautiful, hidden beaches accessible only by sea.
On one of them, Lisičnjak (Fox Bay), another 45-minute swimming break is planned.
We return to Punat at 17:00.
The boat can accommodate up to 90. The upper deck is covered and has 50 seats, and the lower deck has room for 40 people. The ship has a bar, lounge and toilet.
Lunch is on board. You can choose from a fish, meat and veggie menu for lunch. We will order a fish menu for you if you do not indicate otherwise in the reservations' comments. Fish menu: mackerel fillet, potato and mixed salad. Meat menu: mixed meat (pork and chicken), potatoes and mixed salad. Veggie menu: veggie falafel with potatoes and mixed salad. One drink is included in the price (water, wine or juice), and you can order more drinks at the ship's bar.
