Why choose this private boat tour — a boat with a story, a route with a reason
Your boat, your route — and places you can only reach by sea
Eigida sails for over a century
Built in 1911 — the same year as the Titanic.
Once a cruising vessel with cabins, today a wooden boat for private tours of up to 20 guests.
12 metres long, two decks, bar and toilet on board.
The reason people choose Eigida is not just the boat.
It’s the combination of a story and a route that makes sense.
Route: what you see and why it matters
The standard tour lasts 4 hours, departing from Krk towards the uninhabited island of Plavnik.
The cruise follows dramatic cliffs where griffon vultures nest — a colony of around 14 pairs.
With a wingspan of nearly 3 metres, these cliffs serve as their natural take-off point. You observe them in their real habitat.
Next comes the Blue Cave on Plavnik, also known as the Love Cave.
You enter by swimming through a narrow passage. Inside, light filters through underwater openings, colouring the sea in intense shades of blue.
The cave has an open ceiling — sunlight from above, glowing water from below. Visually very different from typical sea caves.
On the way back towards Krk, you pass the Kormati islets — two small islands with a colony of seagulls. The boat slows down as the birds gather around.
The final stop is Golden Beach, accessible only by boat.
It owes its name to the light — sunlight reflects off the rocks, creating golden tones. Like in the Blue Cave, light defines the experience. A perfect place to swim and end the tour.
