A shorter private boat tour for the end of the day, when the heat begins to ease and the sea becomes less busy. Departure is from the Port of Krk at 18:30, with a welcome drink.
The route leads towards Plavnik, an uninhabited island whose steep cliffs are home to griffon vultures. The boat also passes a fish farm in an area where dolphins are often seen, so with a little luck they may be spotted from the boat.
The main part of the tour is a one-hour swimming stop in a cove on Plavnik that is regularly visited by fallow deer. Instead of moving quickly between numerous locations, there is plenty of time here for swimming, relaxing and enjoying a quieter end to the day.
The return journey to Krk takes place at dusk, as the sun sets behind the Kvarner islands.
The boat accommodates up to 12 guests and has a shaded area, refrigerator, toilet, shower and swimming ladder. The tour is personally operated by Julian, a skipper and fisherman who knows this part of the Kvarner well. The route and swimming stop are adapted to the conditions at sea.
