Overview
For all the curious ones, we have prepared a package of tickets to make your visit to Krk a real educational experience! From the discovery of stalactites of the Krk underground, through freshwater and sea creatures to exotic animal species of the tropics. Join us on an adventure to discover the flora and fauna of the Adriatic and beyond!
The package includes tickets to the Biserujko Cave, the Tropical Aquarium, the Aquarium-Terrarium and the Adriatic Aquarium.
In addition, you will get to know different parts of the island - from Rudine near the bridge, through the main place on the island - the town of Krk, to the southernmost point - Baška.
Our educational adventure begins near the town of Rudine, located on the northern side of the island of Krk. There we descend into the Krk underground where, where, with a break from the summer heat, we enjoy the extremely rich cave fauna of the Biserujka cave. As many as 6 endemic species live in it, and the remains of a cave bear were also found in the lower channel of the cave.
After visiting Biserujka, we recommend visiting the village of Rudine, which has only 5 permanent residents. At the bottom of Rudine is the cove of Slivanjska, to which leads the educational hiking trail, along which 5 info boards are placed to help you get to know the interesting things about landscapes you are walking through.
In the island's largest city, the city of Krk, we stop at the Tropical Aquarium, where we will see coral sharks, piranhas, clown fish and corals, among many interesting tropical species.
We continue to the Krk Aquarium-terrarium, where, among other things, we will meet a royal python from Africa, the iguanas and the Yemen chameleon.
Our last stop is the Adriatic Aquarium in Baška. In the Adriatic Aquarium, we will see a total of 100 species of fish and 400 species of shells and snails, located in 21 aquariums, and learn about the richness and biodiversity of the Adriatic sea.
