Overview
Join us in the adventure of discovering the mysteries of the forgotten, abandoned Krk villages of Sršići and Semenj, near Malinska. During this three-hour tour, you will pass through a forest rich in ancient dry walls (gromace), learn about navigating nature and pastoral life, and visit forgotten medieval Krk villages.
This is a circular trail, repeating only the last 80 m. Most of the trail is under the canopy, so this adventure is enjoyable even in summer.
On the way, you will meet giant oak trees, and learn about animals and how to navigate in nature. We will talk about the former way of life and malaria that ravaged almost the entire island...
Through this adventure, you will experience the rich nature of Krk and see how people used to live on Krk.
On this unusual adventure, you will be accompanied by a local adventure guide and a licensed mountain guide, who will share with you valuable tips and tricks for navigating nature, along with exciting facts and stories about forgotten villages. In addition to walking and discovering forest paths, this adventure will invite you to join a song, a raffle with prizes and forest games.
This adventure walk lasts about 3 hours, and it is intended for everyone older than seven years. We recommend hiking shoes or tennis shoes and light clothing for the walk. Feel free to bring a sandwich, fruit and refreshments. Pets are welcome.
The guide speaks English and Croatian.
