Guided hiking tour along the paths towards the peak of Veliki Risnjak
Veliki Risnjak is recognizable by its white rocks. From the top of 1528 m, you will enjoy an unforgettable view of the Kvarner islands, Istria and even the Alps in Slovenia.
Veliki Risnjak is also known for the mountain lodge on Schlosser's meadow, which provides refreshments to hikers and has been in operation since 1932.
You can reach Risnjak by paths from the direction of Crni Lug. The Horvat trail and the trail over Mark's den both lead from Crni lug and the main entrance to the park to the mountain lodge on Risnjak. These trails are somewhat more demanding, their height difference is 838 m, and it is necessary to set aside about 3 hours for them in one direction.
These trails alternate between historic forest roads and impressive hiking trails. Some of the sections of these extremely attractive hiking trails were already built at the end of the 19th century for hikers. Along the trails, you will see many interesting sites, and local mountain guides will share with you many interesting facts about the natural attractions you will see along the way.
For a full-day tour of Risnjak, it is a great idea to go to Risnjak from the direction of Gornje Jelenje, and return to Crni Lug via Horvat's path or the path over Mark's den.

Guided tours to Snježnik
Snježnik is located northwest of Risnjak at an altitude of 1506 m and is recognizable by its beautiful, luxurious mountain meadows.
It will take you about an hour to get to Snježnik from the direction of Platak. The trails are moderately demanding, and depending on the route, the height difference is 391 - 449 m.

Full-day tour of Risnjak and Snježnik
It is a great idea to visit Snježnik and Risnjak together. Between Risnjak and Snježnik is a spacious mountain meadow Lazac bordered by a thick forest behind which the peaks of Risnjak peek out.
Please note that tickets for visiting Risnjak National Park must be purchased separately.
In addition to expert guidance on Risnjak and Snježnik, you can also enjoy other somewhat shorter guided hikes/sightseeing in Risnjak National Park, also accompanied by an expert guide.
In Risnjak, you can also visit the source of the Kupa River and the wonderful Butterfly Valley.
