Ideal for all those without kayak experience and those who are attracted to the part of the river with safe rapids, on a canoe/kayak safari you will enjoy the natural beauty of the Kupa River and have the opportunity to explore the flora and fauna of Gorski Kotar.
A canoe safari on the Kupa River is a great experience and provides fun for the whole family. The excursion is ideal for families with children, and since it is about exploring a quiet part of the Kupa River, children older than 3 years can participate in the excursion. These are "sit on top" kayaks characterized by their stability, making this trip ideal for your little ones.
The excursion is available from June to September and provides an excellent refreshment from the summer heat.
The minimum number for an independent group is 4 people. Otherwise, we join the next group in the first possible term.
Canoe safari takes 2-3 hours, of which we are 1,5-2 hours on the river.
Bring a swimsuit, because, in addition to kayaking, we also enjoy swimming, jumping into the river, and relaxing in the most beautiful parts of the mountain course of the river.
Upon arrival, you will get the equipment and learn more about the canoe safari section. Then we drive to the starting canoeing position, where we change in the changing tents and get to know other kayak equipment.
No prior experience in canoeing/kayaking is required. The section we descend is safe and without danger.
The canoe/kayak safari price includes all necessary equipment for kayaking, experienced and engaged guides, insurance and photos from the trip.
After the canoe safari, we recommend trying some of the famous Gorski kotar specialities in local restaurants, such as grilled trout or forest fruit strudel.

Itinerary
- Arrive at the canoe/kayak base at 14:30.
- Sharing the equipment, getting to know the kayaking section and driving to the start by van.
- At the start, we change in the changing tents and get to know kayaking equipment
- Canoe/kayak safari takes 2-3 hours, of which we are 1,5-2 hours on the river.
- There is a 15-minute break on the river for swimming and jumping.
- Return by van to the canoe/kayak base.
