You will learn about raising and caring for donkeys and enjoy abundant content perfect for children. You will also learn interesting information about the benefits of donkey milk.
On this donkey farm, coastal-dinaric donkeys are bred, which are original and, at the same time, an endangered donkey breed.
Children will enjoy two rounds of donkey riding in the farm yard (donkey riding is for children up to 35 kg). You will surely like the ride in a tricycle cart pulled by donkeys. Donkeys can be petted and groomed. You will also see how donkeys' hooves are cleaned and cared for.
Feel free to bring carrots and apples to feed the donkeys.
Children will be interested in socialising with other domestic animals, such as hens, in their natural environment.
You will also visit the Vrtača area, where there are two puddles in the lush green nature. Our friendly hosts will tell you the interesting history of these impressive natural attractions.
After visiting the farm, you will definitely want to stay at the fenced playground for children, where you will find a slide and a seesaw. There is also a toilet.
We suggest you also bring something to snack on - picnic tables are available at the farm. There, under the treetops, you can enjoy a beautiful view.
Maybe after visiting the donkey farm, you want to swim on the sandy beach of Oštro, only 5 minutes away by car, or visit nearby Crikvenica.
